BRINGS YOUR DESTINATIONS ONBOARD

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is modeled after their sister company, the five-star Red Carnation Hotel Collection. Their collection of boutique hotels is known for their destination-inspired interior décor, gracious service and carefully selected amenities—all of which provide an intimate, elegant and relaxed experience.
Likewise, the boutique river cruise ships are stylish floating hotels with inviting spaces, exquisite antiques, custom fabrics and original works of art.

NO DETAIL IS TOO SMALL

Each ship is inspired by the very rivers upon which they cruise. With distinctive themes, color palettes, custom-made fabrics, personally selected original artwork, sumptuous furnishings and antiques, each element, down to the smallest detail, has been thoughtfully considered and flawlessly rendered.

NO TWO SUITES ARE THE SAME

When you stay in one of their spacious suites, you'll enjoy outstanding butler service, large all-marble bathrooms with a double vanity, Asprey bath and body products, handcrafted Savoir® Beds of England, a fully-stocked bar, fresh cookies and fruit delivered daily, and more.

INNOVATION & EXCELLENCE

The ships seamlessly blend old-world elegance with the latest technological innovations and ultra-luxurious amenities. Under the guidance and vision of the Tollmans—a family synonymous with hospitality and innovation—they boldly invest in new ships that continue to elevate not only the Uniworld experience, but the luxury river cruise standard as a whole.

THE ONE THING MORE STUNNING THAN STEPPING ONBOARD, is stepping off.

Every Uniworld cruise is meticulously crafted to be an experience you won’t find anywhere else, filled with moments that are each more breathtaking than the last. They´ve gone the extra mile to ensure their included and optional excursions immerse you in the authentic culture, sights and cuisine of the places you’ll visit.

INCLUDED EXCURSIONS

Nothing onboard is cookie-cutter, so your time onshore shouldn’t be either. You’ll have several options of included excursions each day, so you can explore exactly how you’d like. The choice is yours:

VILLAGE DAY

Get an in-depth look into the quaint destinations you visit and the local people who bring them to life.

LET’S GO

These active excursions feature walking, hiking, cycling, kayaking and golfing activities.

DO AS THE LOCALS DO

Experience life like a local, from riding the subway to stopping into a café for a local treat.

PRIVATE EXPERIENCES

From visiting a museum without the crowds to an after-hours tour of a famous landmark, these included, once-in-a-lifetime experiences are arranged privately for Uniworld guests.

THE MOST PERSONAL SERVICE,
compliments of the most tenured crew on the rivers.

Service is at the heart of everything Uniworld do. They treat their guests like family–a philosophy instilled in the company culture as a family-owned business with 100 years in the hospitality industry. It’s the driving force behind the guest-centric atmosphere and the reason you leave your cruise feeling like part of the family.

THE MOST PERSONAL SERVICE

NO REQUEST IS TOO LARGE

At Uniworld, they all live by the credo “No request is too large, no detail is too small.” Their goal is to give you the unique and unforgettable experiences you seek, with the personalized, industry-leading service you deserve.

TINY NOTICEABLE TOUCHES

The tiniest details often draw the brightest smiles. The staff’s passion is apparent in their matchless attention to your interests, like remembering your drink order from day one, or venturing off the ship to surprise you with chocolates from a local shop you mentioned in passing.

1 TO 2.3 STAFF-TO-GUEST RATIO

With one of the best staff-to-guest ratios on the river, each guest receives the crew’s full attention and unmatched attention to detail.

IN-SUITE BUTLERS

The butlers are trained to the same standards of excellence required by Buckingham Palace, educated under the tutelage of Zita Langenstein at England’s Ivor Spencer Butler School. Each assumes the role of butler 100% of the time, and doesn’t moonlight in other roles, enabling him or her to focus fully on making your cruise one to never forget.

THE WORLD'S BEEN GOOD TO US.
And we’d like to return the favor.

Mother Nature has provided us with a beautiful playground, and supporting the places we visit and those who call our destinations home is essential to ensuring the future of travel is equally bright.

Over a decade ago, they introduced a clean water program to preserve our rivers and waterways, which many in the industry have since followed. As a joint initiative between The Travel Corporation and Uniworld, in partner with the TreadRight Foundation to help ensure the environment and communities they visit remain vibrant and preserved for generations to come.

Travel has provided the chance to give back and lift up others, and they strive to do so whenever possible.

ECO FRIENDLY

SAY GOODBYE TO SINGLE-USE PLASTICS

It is estimated that an additional eight million tons of plastic pour into the oceans every year. According to a report by the World Economic Forum, if nothing is done to push back against the deluge of plastics currently overwhelming our oceans there could be more plastic in the oceans than fish by 2050.

Under the guidance of their parent company, The Travel Corporation, and their not-for-profit foundation, TreadRight, Uniworld will ban more than 60 types of single-use plastics across all operations—including straws, water bottles and plastic bags—by 2022. It's all part of the  commitment to ensure the environment remains vibrant for generations to come.

TREADRIGHT FOUNDATION

Founded in 2008 by Uniworld’s parent company, The Travel Corporation, the TreadRight Foundation encourages sustainable tourism and has completed more than 40 projects that have benefited the environment as well as local culture and heritage. In 2015, TreadRight named their first ambassador, leading environmentalist and explorer Céline Cousteau. Céline has traveled the world while working to preserve marine life as well as indigenous tribes in the Amazon.

ECONOMIC RESPONSIBILITY

From organic wineries to small, family-run enterprises, Uniworld is committed to supporting environmentally conscious business throughout the destinations to which we travel. By introducing the guests to these local and sustainable ventures, they are able to provide truly unique experiences to travelers while bringing economic opportunity to the region.

CARBON OFFSET

As part of the continuing sustainability journey, they feel it’s increasingly important to provide guests and their team with the necessary tools and information to allow them to make responsible travel choices whenever possible. With this in mind, they are now happy to provide you with opportunities to carbon offset your travel experience.

If you’re looking to offset your carbon footprint for an upcoming or previous travel experience, their not-for-profit TreadRight Foundation has identified four leading carbon offset programs that provide travelers with a number of ways in which to offset your travel experiences and a variety of carbon offset projects to choose from:
- Conservation International Carbon Fund
- myclimate
- The Nature Conservancy
- Rainforest Concern—Forest Credits
